1. I would like to thank everyone for the Birthday Greetings on my 83rd Birthday. It is very heartwarming that so many know about my real birthday and remember to send greetings.
2. My official birthday is 20th December 1925. My father registered that date for all his sons so that there would be no hassles when registering for entry into schools. He was a teacher and knew all about the difficulties.
3. So please do forget my official birthday i.e. December 20. My real birthday make me five months older.

1. The Road Transport Department wants to suspend the permits of express bus operators who increase fares without approval.
2. With petrol prices so high, car-owners are resorting to public transport. We can expect more people than before to travel by bus.
3. If bus operators are suspended then increased demand will be met with decreased supply. I wonder if anyone thought about this. Or will there be a flop after the flip.
Blocks
1. Today the police have set up road blocks to prevent a public rally.
2. I do not blame the police for doing this. It is their job.
3. But thousands of cars would be burning costly fuel as they inch their way forward to pass the block.
4. We need to check not just the passenger cars but also the buses and the trains. They are unusually crowded now. They provide loopholes for determined demonstrators.
5. Talking about transport, I think people should know of a bus company in Kuala Lumpur which charges 9 cents (nine cents) per passenger between Kuala Lumpur and the Low Cost Terminal in KLIA. And it is making profit from this operation. Maybe other bus companies can learn something.
M.V. Agusta
1. Proton bought this Italian motorcycle maker for 70 million Euro (about RM350 million).
2. Its savvy management sold it for 1 Euro (RM5) to an unknown company in Italy.
3. Some months ago Husqvarna, a division of M.V. Agusta which manufactures scrambler sporty off-road motorcycles was sold to a German company, BMW for 90 million Euro (RM450 million). Now the rest of M.V. Agusta has been bought by Harley-Davidson Motor Cycles of the United States for RM350 million.
4. So Proton lost approximately RM800 million selling M.V. Agusta for RM5. The buyer invested one Euro and made 160 million Euro.
5. Do we need a Royal Commission to look into this or should the ACA investigate this matter particularly the role of Credit Suisse who was paid a huge consultancy fee to advise Proton's management who executed it.
6. Or maybe we do not mind losing RM800 million because we have so much money.

2. Tindakan 'suspend' permit bas ekspress adalah salah satu keputusan kerajaan yang tidak mengkaji secara mendalam tetapi terus membuat keputusan ie flip flop decision as pointed by Tun.
3. Memang benar, banyak betul kenderaan yang sangkut dalam kesesakan jalan raya pagi ini termasuk saya. Mungkin beribu galon petrol disia-siakan dalam kesesakan ini.
4. Penjualan MV Augusta untuk 1 Euro sesuatu yang tidak masuk akal dengan alasan-alasan yang diberi oleh Proton. Dengan penglibatan Harley Davidson untuk membeli MV Augusta pada harga pasaran menunjukkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh MV Augusta. Cuma orang-orang yang berpandangan jauh sahaja dapat melihat potensi dan kebaikan sesuatu projek di jangka masa panjang sepertimana Tun selama 22 tahun.
Harap, kerajaan kita akan ambil iktibar sedikit sebanyak dari kesilapan yang mereka buat sejak kebelakangan ini.

1. Kalau orang kampung membida MV Agusta 2 Euro (RM10), boleh dapatkah?
2. Kalau Syarikat Kumpulan Naza boleh sukses dalam dunia permotoran dua roda melalui Naza Bike, kenapa tidak bagi Proton?
3. Sebenarnya Proton boleh memindahkan teknologi dari segi teknologi enjin, chasis dan sebagainya dari MV Agusta - Lihat sahaja motosikal Ducati dan Aprilia dari Itali, sudah mengusai kejohanan MotoGP dan SBK, yang selama ini dikuasai oleh syarikat motosikal yang berpangkalan di Jepun. Juga lihat motosikal KTM.
4. Dunia motosikal di Malaysia belum meluas terutama dalam kelas yang berenjin besar. Duti import terlalu hisap darah. Bukankah inilah peluangnya bagi Proton memasarkan motosikal kuasa besar dengan harga kompetitif di dalam negara - sebagai motosikal besar nasional?
5. Kenapa Proton hanya menumpukan perniagaan keretanya - yang tak seberapa itu? Lihat Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda...

The present government is going rather to far. Kata suruh rakyat berjimat dengan pengunaan minyak. Padahal but road block, menyeksakan rakyat saja, Bukan saja buang minyak kerana terpaksa tunggu di jalan, tapi terpaksa lambat ke office. ACA patut siasat siapa yang menyebatkan Agusta dijual 1 euro. Apakah bodohnya orang yang menjualkan dengan begitu murah sekali sampai tak bernilai.

2)Stupid 'road block'! even on saturday n sunday also roadblock, menyusahkan orang je. Polis tu bukan buat apa pun dok lepak je nampak...pastu tahan kenderaan kecil2, e.g. motorsikal etc. mcm lah dorang ni pengganas. kesian bila difikirkan mereka ni jadik mangsa...kebanyakkannya takde lesen atau road tax dah mampus, sebab tak mampu...rasanya monthly income dorang ni less than rm 1000... tak mampu kot amik lesen and renew roadtax, so main redah je...akibatnye kena tahan dek polis...erm...

It is nice to know our real birthday. I only know my official birthday as stated in my birth certificate.
Most people views things only in one direction since oru eyes is situated in front of our face. Most of the time, the tendency is to focus on only one point, at a time just like convex lens. Very rare to come accross people who looks at things from various different aspect. I remember of a school student who sais that we see the lightning before heard the thunder because our eyes is infront and our ears are behind. That is logic. The light will reach the eyes first before the sound reach the ears.
Sometimes logic is difficult to understand. Just like Galelio argument that two objects with different masses will reach the ground at the same time when they are dropped from the same hight. Now, logic is even more difficulte to comprehen. Buying somethingg at 450 and selling at 5 , and making big profit at the same time. I wonder what mathematical operation is this going to be call.
I think I can prove it this way : 450 X 0 = 0
5 X 0 = 0
This implies 450 X 0 = 5 X 0
There for 450 = 5 X 0/0
450 = 5
Sorry, I can only prove that 450 = 5
So they don't make any profit realy.

All the "kiasan" with the FLIP FLOP logic made many of us think deeper on the thing that really happen surrounding us. You just don't have to spell out the details part but the words that you wrote made many of us observes around us and understand the rational behind any decisions or action made by the current government. The media has distorted the truth about everything this has extending the damage that already made by the present government. So, people have to made their choice and made it right.
But with the power that the government had we being abuse and misuse for their own interest. As we look at the media, obviously the present government especially the Prime Minister is using the "GULA GULA" strategy to win the people's heart and support. By allowing the PM( Pak Lah ) to made all the blunder, it would be much difficult for Najib to maneuver the country. How could someone with that experience and knowledge to allow such thing to happen. Is there any other reason that Najib fail to understand the problems that might face him. IF he could be the next Prime Minister then we would expect another disaster to come. It is too scary to think of what will happen to our country and generation.
This MONTH you will break another record-"1 million under 1 month".

Proton merupakan syarikat pengeluar kereta. Teknologi yang diambil dari Jepun. Disebabkan ekonomi dunia dan perlawanan industri yang semakin hebat, ada ura-ura Proton akan berkawan dengan rakan niaga dari Barat.
Sekali pandang, dua teknologi berbeza. Dua kali pandang, teknologi yang akan komplemen antara dua. Tindakan yang bijak. Malangnya tidak menjadi.
Pembelian MV Agusta mungkin ada perancangan nya. Tapi orang kampung mungkin tak paham. Apa yang boleh komplemen antara teknologi kereta dengan teknologi motosikal.

As for the MV Augusta scandal definitely the people want to know the whole truth nothing but the truth. Let the ACA investigate this Khazanah guy Azman or whatever his name is. RM800 millions is not a small sum of money and most importantly it was the tax payer money.

For the road transport, I think that we are bound to have another crisis and this time when the bus operators will get fed up with whats going on right now or maybe we will see the bus companies strike and if that happens the rakyat will once again become the victims
On the road blocks issue, the police are doing the best to prevent things from becoming chaos, but there are times that the police cannot control all the things at all the time. There are many determined demonstrators that will use their brains to get by through the loop holes.
Last but not the least is M.V. Agusta, what a waste that they make out of it by selling for 1 euro. Proton bought it for 70 million euro and then were sold by merely rm 5. I dont see any justification by doing that and I sure dont think that the move to sell it for 1 euro was a smart move. I for one think that proton should have made the moves to sell the part of the M.V. Agusta to the german and american companies and not by the italian company. Well after all that have been said and done I wonder why the ACA have to wait to investigate for the wrong doings. These are proofs of what would happen when we choose the wrong people to sphere head our beloved country like the saying in Malay goes "PANDAI TAK BOLIH DI IKUT, BODOH TAK BOLIH DIAJAR" and do we still have to wait for 2010?

"Buying something at Euro 70m and selling at Euro 1 , and making big profit at the same time"
The one who sell at Euro (90+70)m, is the same person who purchase at Euro 1, Do not forget that the one who sell at Euro 1, is not the one who purchased at Euro 70m. In other words, the one who make profit is the one who make PROTON to looks like a clown. That's why they said they had make a very big profit at the same time! :-)

Kami doakan Tun sekeluarga sihat walafiat.
Kisah Proton menjual MV Agusta dengan 1 euro sangat menyedihkan. Saya di fahamkan bukan senang bagi management Proton yg terdahulu untuk mendapatkan controlling interest dalam syarikat tersebut. MV Agusta pula terkenal dengan reka bentuknya yg cantik & mempunyai teknologi enjin yang canggih. Kilang2 mereka di Italy adalah asset yg tinggi nilai nya dan canggih. Sekarang ni Proton ada Lotus, kilang di England. Alang kah gah nya kita rakyat Malaysia kalau mempunyai MV Agusta sebagai anak syarikat Proton dan mempunyai kilang di Italy.Saya sendiri pun berangan2 hendak memiliki motor tersebut, munkin murah lah sedikit bawah Proton. Tiba2 dengar dah di jual dengan harga 'percuma'! Saya hairan mengapa tidak di offer kepada syarikat2 Malaysia? Munkin ada yang berminat dengan harga 1 euro. Konon MV Agusta mananggung hutang yang besar, tapi BMW & Harley sanggup pulak membayar dengan harga berlipat ganda. Ramai yang menganggap ada yang tak kena. Paling elok kalau Royal Commission & BPR dapat mengkaji selidik penjualan ini, sekurang2nya untuk memaklumkan pada rakyat apa sebenar nya terjadi. Lagi pun yang menanggung rugi ni rakyat kan? Terkilan tak dapat MV Agusta ~ yang pernah mendapat gelaran World Champion di suatu masa dulu, seperti Lotus!

Kenapalah pemerintah sekarang suka membazir duit rakyat tanpa memikir kesan yg akan dialami oleh rakyat.... Bila sesuatu benda yg tak elok terjadi maka pemerintah ini pon berlagak baik cuba menasihat rakyat supaya banyak bersabar... suruh rakyat tukar cara hidup dgn cara berjimat cermat.... kepada semua yg membaca adakah masa Tun memerintah kita rakyat hidup susah macam nie.. hampir 22 tahun memerintah kite hidup senang dan aman... tapi sekarang nie keadaan huru hara, ekonomi negara tak menentu... sampai kadang kadang yang pasti nyer setiap hari jumaat saya akan susah kerana rumah saya berdekatan dgn Masjid KG BARU. bila selesai solat jumaat jerr mula lah ada pihak menghasut jemaah dan menaikkan amarah jemaah tadi di kawasan masjid nie sume menyusahkan org setempat.... itu lagi pemerintah suruh rakyat besabar... jangan sampai seluruh rakyat memberontak atau mengulingkan kerajaan yang ada... kita lihat contoh yg berlaku di negara jiran kita.. mereka sanggup buat apa saja demi sesuap nasi... kalau dgn ada nyer pemerintah mcm ini masih memerintah mungkin nasib kita akan sama mcm negara jiran kita... Adakah anda semua mahu ini berlaku kepada negara tercinta kita...

I really hope that there will be some positive development to the current political and economic situations. As the rakyat, I think most people have done everything that they can to push for a better reform, but judging from the scenario, the current scenario is unlikely to change... Can we really hope for a change?

Dari semalam hingga hari ini, sakit sangat hati saya sebab polis adakan sekatan jalanraya di sekitar Kuala Lumpur. Sekatan jalanraya ini amat menganggu. Kalau tanpa sekatan jalanraya pun memamng dah sesak, inikan pulak ada sekatan jalanraya. Kehidupan makin lama makin tertekan. Dah la petrol mahal, bersesak-sesak pulak membazir petrol. Beginilah nasib rakyat di bawah kerajaan AAB. Betapa berat mata memandang berat lagi bahu memikul.
Polis dikerah buat kerja mengarut. Kedai mesin kuda@slot banyak lagi, merata tempat ada. Rumah tumpangan jual "ayam hidup" pun ada. Dari dulu sampai la ni. Pi la suruh depa tengok-tengokkan yang tu. Ada ke pi suruh buat sekatan jalanraya pasal tak mau bagi org tunjuk perasaan. Membazir duit rakyat. Tak masuk akal.

ACA memang sepatutnya selidik perihal MV Augusta ni. Saya pun hairan. di Malaysia, sekiranya sesuatu issue tu di dedahkan kepada public, somehow itu issue sudah jadi halal. Ini bukan pertama kali. Kuota AP, bila sudah publish di akhbar, issue tu terus lenyap. MAS bailout, IPP, kos projek rancangan malaysia naik berbillion, duit di channelkan ke Sabah yang tiada dalam rancangan asal, duit royalti terengganu yang kena sapu, duit balak kedah, isteri khir toyo sapu duit tabung kebajikan dan transfer ke akaun persatuan isteri dato'2, tambak johor, ... macam-macam.

As Godfather has pointed out, the fare between KL and LCCT is RM 9, not 9 cents. I for one would find it impossible to work out the numbers and still come out with a profitable figure, even with full load both to and fro journeys. Perhaps it's an oversight our YABhg Tun's part to put in 9 cents, or were wrongly informed by someone.
As for the MV Augusta issue, perhaps someone will make a report and have it properly investigated. It's a shame to sell it in the first place, and it's even more shameful to know that the buyer made hundreds on millions selling it on to other parties.
I support the call for a royal commission to investigate this, and to investigate into the role of Credit Suisse in advising our govt on the sale.

Like your father, my father too, registered all his children's birth date on the same date (15th January)but of different years. He was a teacher and knew the hassles that he needs to go through later when we start schooling. And its easy for him to remember our birthdays.
Actually, I was given the opportunity to meet you personally at a Seminar whereby I was allowed to personally prepare your 'talk point' on Leadership Crisis. The participants were very impressed with your talk.

Dalam silibus mata pelajaran Sejarah Tingkatan 3 dan Tingkatan 5 untuk PMR dan SPM ada diterangkan dengan panjang lebar tentang Kontrak Sosial. Malahan, seorang pensyarah UTM subjek Kenegaraan Malaysia dan Hubungan Etnik sendiri mengakui bahawa kandungan buku teks sekolah menengah tersebut adalah lebih lengkap berbanding silibus peringkat universiti mengenai sejarah Malaysia berkaitan usaha ke arah kemerdekaan dan pengisian kemerdekaan.
Buku teks Tingkatan 3 yang digunakan sehingga tahun 2005(?) telah digunakan sejak PMR pertama kali diperkenalkan sejak 1984(?). Maka, sepatutnya kebanyakan generasi yang kini majoriti rakyat Malaysia faham tentang kandungan Kontrak Sosial ini. Kenyataan sesetengah individu bahawa mereka baru sahaja faham tentang perkara ini dapat diterima sebagai menghairankan.
Sebelum kita perjuangkan sesuatu ataupun takut untuk memperjuangkan sesuatu, adalah penting untuk kita fahami dahulu apa sebenarnya kandungan perjuangan tersebut. Jika tidak, kelak kita akan diperbodohkan dengan strategi bijak pihak lawan. Lebih malang lagi, kita akan memperbodohkan diri kita sendiri dengan melakukan kesilapan yang membantutkan perjuangan kita. Sayangnya andai kesilapan tersebut mematahkan usaha kita ke arah satu perjuangan yang murni.
Penerangan Dr M atau sesiapapun tentang Kontrak Sosial ataupun sebarang perkara mengenai Ketuanan Melayu dan hak-hak istimewa Melayu dan Bumiputera sering digunakan sebagai hujah untuk melabelkan kita tersebut sebagai 'racist'. Dan akibat daripada kejahilan kita sendiri, kita takut lalu meminta maaf. Alangkah malangnya sesuatu bangsa itu apabila warganya sendiri malu dan takut untuk mempertahankan maruah bangsanya.
Maka perlulah kita tahu hak kita dan yakin dengannya sehingga pihak lain tidak mampu menafikan apa jua yang sememangnya mereka tahu bahawa ianya hak kita. Namun, oleh sebab pertentangan perjuangan lawan kita akan sanggup menggunakan strategi tak kira bersih ataupun kotor asalkan ideologi mereka tercapai.
Ideologi dan perjuangan yang kini dilaungkan oleh pihak pembangkang terutama DAP dan PKR adalah perjuangan yang tampak universal dan mulia pada mata kasar. Sama jugalah dengan agenda globalisasi yang dibawa USA dan sekutu negara2 kaya. Tun Dr M merupakan salah seorang pemimpin yang lantang menentang globalisasi mutlak. Globalisasi mutlak mempromosikan platform persaingan sama rata bagi semua negara. Ini seolah2 perlawanan tinju antara atlet featherweight dan heavyweight. tentulah sukar bagi atlet featherweight tersebut untuk menang. Kalaupun menang, adalah dengan usaha yang jauh lebih besar berbanding atlet heavyweight yang lebih besar dan kuat. Menurut Tun, secara kasar, globalisasi perlulah memberi 'fighting chance' kepada semua negara termasuk yang miskin. Majoriti dunia telah termakan dengan hujah 'universal' dan 'mulia' negara kaya tentang globalisasi. Malaysia bernasib baik kerana mempunyai Perdana Menteri yang sangat berani menentang arus dan mempunyai pendirian fikiran sendiri yang teguh. Penolakan tawaran pinjaman IMF ketika krisis ekonomi 97/98 merupakan kemuncak kepada keberanian ini. Dalam saat genting kegawatan ekonomi dan politik waktu itu, Malaysia masih mampu menganjurkan Sukan Komanwel ke-16 dengan jayanya.
Agenda universal yang dibawa DAP dan PKR andainya terjadi akan menafikan Kontrak Sosial yang telah menjadi asas pembinaan negara Malaysia. Mungkin ada hujah bahawa selagi Kontrak Sosial dikekalkan, maka selagi itulah semua pihak Melayu dan bukan Melayu akan tidak berpuas hati dan meretakkan hubungan antara kaum.
Isu ini pernah dijawab oleh Allahyarham Tun Dr Ismail Abdul Rahman (Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Menteri Dalam Negeri era Tun Razak) seperti berikut, " Malaysia adalah negara untuk orang Melayu yang sederhana dan orang Cina yang memahami"-Bukan Kerana Pangkat.
Ini bererti harapan sesetengah ekstremist orang Melayu untuk mencapai ketuanan Melayu mutlak tidak dapat dibenarkan. Begitulah juga ideologi sama rata sekular ala Singapura yang dibawa oleh ekstremist Cina tidak dapat dibenarkan.
Toleransi sebeginilah yang telah membawa kestabilan kepada Malaysia setelah kekacauan 13 Mei. Tun Dr Ismail telah digelar sebagai pemimpin yang telah menyelamatkan Malaysia kerana kejayaannya menstabilkan negara berdasarkan prinsip tersebut.
Alangkah sayangnya sekiranya kestabilan ini dimusnahkan kerana cita-cita melampau setengah kumpulan kecil. Lebih malang lagi apabila ada golongan yang menyokong usaha oleh kumpulan ini tanpa berfikir secara kritis dan rasional yang akhirnya akan menjahanamkan diri mereka sendiri.
Perkembangan politik pada masa ini yang sarat dengan isu-isu mengenai pelbagai ideologi dan perjuangan bukanlah perkara baru sebenarnya. Dengan menyoroti sejarah negara, kita akan dapat melihat bahawa tuntutan2 dan perjuangan ini berulang2 setiap kali wujudnya krisis.
Kajian mendalam terhadap sejarah dan kandungan tersirat mengenai sesuatu isu merupakan salah satu 'strong point' yang menjadikan Tun Dr M seorang pemimpin dan pemikir yang hebat. Tindakan dan keputusan yang dibuat beliau dalam menggesa perletakan jawatan Dato Seri Abdullah contohnya adalah usaha yang strategik yang akan mengelakkan dan menyelesaikan pelbagai masalah yang boleh timbul daripada hanya satu faktor ini. Begitu jugalah usaha beliau dalam Menjenayahkan Perang-Criminalizing War. Logiknya amat mudah tetapi sangat kuat. Membunuh adalah jenayah dan perang adalah tindakan membunuh. Maka, perang juga adalah jenayah. Menjadikan perang sebagai jenayah akan menjatuhkan nilai moral negara2 yang memulakan perang serta menggerakkan tindakan undang2 sedunia terhadap jenayah peperangan. Ini kelak juga akan melemahkan peluang kerjasama ekonomi negara tersebut dengan pasaran dunia. Lebih baik lagi, perang tidak lagi akan menjadi satu pilihan langsung untuk menyelesaikan konflik antara negara.
Perlulah kita ingat kembali bahawa Malaysia ingin menjadi sebuah negara maju dengan acuannya tersendiri. Wawasan 2020 menggariskan cita-cita dengan tepat dan padat dalam 9 Cabaran utamanya. Oleh itu, menjadikan USA atau Jepun atau Singapura sebagai model negara maju untuk Malaysia bukanlah sesuatu yang bijak.
Maka, kita juga perlu membentuk pemikiran kritis dan strategik seperti Tun. Semoga keputusan dan tindakan kita adalah yang terbaik.
Usahlah membenarkan orang lain menafikan naluri kita untuk membela agama,bangsa dan negara kita sendiri.

malas nak komen yg lain..cuma nak sebut pasal road block. smalam masa balik dari kampung di kg gajah,perak ke putrajaya rasa macam menyesal jekk.saya ikut jalan dalam dari teluk intan-k.selangor-klang)bayangkan untuk perjalanan sejauh 190KM, terpaksa melalui perjalanan selama 6 JAM!! tak pernah terjadi walaupun musim cuti raya.sepanjang perjalanan terdapat 7 road block!!? purata 1 road block untuk setiap 20KM!!? gila ke apa... biasanya kos perjalanan cuma dalam RM30 untuk minyak...tapi smalam lebur hampir RM60 untuk minyak saja yang separuh terbuang disebabkan jalan jem. saper nak jawab...pak lah...? polis..? hamid albar...? saper nak ganti balik.
yang bestnya semua road block tu bukannya check apa pun..tutup jalan buka satu lorong je..ada sorang tunggu jaga kon pastu yg lain duduk tepi bersembang,isap okok.aku masuk federal highway mlm tadi dari meru hala shah alam dalam pukul 10...nak lepas tak sampai 2km amik masa 30 minit??!! apa punya bangang.sebesar 4 lane cuma bukak 1 lane je...?aku tengok dia punya jem rasanya mau 10KM..!!apa punya bangang.bukannya nak check apa pun.apa apa pun smalam aku rugi masa...duit..minyak kete disebabkan kebodohan arahan polis. sian anak anak aku,bini aku yg tengah nunggu hari nak bersalin yg terpaksa kepanasan dalam kete..terpaksa sesekala tak pasang air-cond sebab nak save minyak.polis lainlaa..minyak pree..menteri pun sama..minyak pree...apa ada hal.
lain kali nak buat road block BODOH mcm ni pikir dulu laa...hari minggu...orang balik dari kampung..balik cuti..BODOH.!!. disebabkan kebodohan korang aku rugi..tersekse..

Transportation Woes
As the minister had said during one of his press statement after the infamous day the price of petrol and diesel were increased by RM0.78 and RM1.00 respectively, that the price of public transportation will not increase as all of the operators have fleet card and they can still get their diesel at subsidised rate. What the minister did not say was that the fleet card holders only received about 70% of their monthly requirements. The remaining 30% must be bought at the newly announced higher price. As such, the operators did not have much options rather that increaseing their price.
On this note the ministry had mentioned that such unscrupulous operators will have their permits revoked. This is such a funny statement as most of the operators have already increase their price or reduce their frequencies to cope with the increasing operating costs. Such incompetency only happened in this inept cabinet of Mr. Flip Flop.
Road Blockage
This is such a sad situation as many citizens were caught in the traffic jams on their way to work. Just imagine how much productivity is lost due to the blockade. I'm glad I'm no longer commuting to Kuala Lumpur to go to work. Anyway, I can always emphatise with those who were caught in the jam. In addition of being anxious they are also spending more on petrol, unnecessarily.
M.V. Augusta
There is nothing more that I can say about this debacle. When the government announced that the Proton division was sold for 1Euro, I was aghast. Although the 1 Euro consideration included all the outstanding debts, and free Proton of further cash outflows, the decision was not arrived through the proper evaluation as we believe the outfit is worth more than 1 Euro. I believe, if the government were to open a tender for the sale of M.V Augusta, there would be many bidders who are willing to pay a fair market price for M.V. Augusta.
I remembered that there was a police report made by the public on the sale of M.V. Augusta for 1 Euro but the report amount to nothing. Maybe now is the right time to revisit the police report by ACA.
Finally, the selling of M.V. Augusta is just to spite Tun, whom together with Tengku Mahaleel have such a grand plan for Proton to use the Augusta superbike engine technology to produce an affordable, economical car for the rakyat.
Anyway, it's already done and as they say, the rest is history, in this case, it's history for Mr Flip Flop.

I feel many of our current leadership do not have the brain to think as far as Tun could. As though that is not bad enough, they decided to turn their back to Tun and make their own short sighted decisions based on what they can see and the results is many billions of Malaysian hard earned monies down the drain. If only they had some brain and consult Tun before making any moves, billions of ringgit could have been made instead of burned.
I thank God that it was during Tun's leaderships that the currency crisis happened in 1998. If it was the current leadership when the currency crisis hits, I am sure we are all dead meat.

(1) Block - it is not necessary at all. The police are creating the tension although that is their jobs! In fact they have caused havoc in the city today. Tan Sri IGP is to be blame and surely so he will find excuses.
(2) MV Agusta - YAB Pak Lah must be wrongly advised or there is an udang sebalik batu? Guess who else is involved? If there's a potential loss due to poor business decision, then I suggest this matter should be debated in Parliament. Alas... such motion will be gunned down by UMNO.

Walaupun umur Tun dah 83 tahun tapi tenaga fizikal Tun macam baru berumur 50 tahun. Kenapa saya berkata begitu. Kerana Tun boleh berdiri selama lebih satu jam semasa menyampaikan ucapan. Orang yang lebih muda pun ada yang tak sanggup nak berdiri begitu lama.
Lagi satu perkara. Saya tak pernah melihat Tun tertidur dimana-mana majlis pun.
Daya fikir Tun juga dikurnia Allah jauh menjangkau masa. Maka dengan sebab itu Tun boleh merancang sesuatu untuk kebaikan negara dan rakyatnya.
