1. At a press conference called to explain about the police report on judge Ian Chin, a Western reporter blamed me for the authoritarian rule of Prime Minister Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
2. It seemed that he had inherited this behaviour from me. And she suggested that I was worse than Dato Seri Abdullah.
3. The Western press and my detractors among the opposition and certain members of the local press had of course labelled me a dictator when I was Prime Minister.

5. Lee Kuan Yew labelled me "the Malay Ultra" and the Chinese in Malaysia were shocked when I was named the Deputy Prime Minister by Tun Hussein. They thought I would be dispossessing them of their wealth and rights in favour of the Malays.
6. But soon after I took office they changed their minds and became very supportive. Before I stepped down the Chinese electorate ensured that I got the 2/3 majority in 1999, the last election over which I presided.
7. But the Western journalists prefer to retain their own fiction about my being a dictator, my anti-Chinese feelings and my being corrupt and favouring my cronies. Now their journalists would read these old reports and presume that they were God-given truths. They never ever do any real research. And so every time I criticise the Abdullah Badawi regime, they and the local Abdullah apologists would rebut by saying that I was worse when I was Prime Minister.
8. In particular my alleged authoritarian management of the party and the Government. What they ignore is the fact that during my Presidency of UMNO, other leaders were not afraid to challenge me.
9. Dato (now Tun) Musa Hitam, my first Deputy resigned from his position in the Government and the party. I was naturally angered by his action. But the Supreme Council of UMNO decided to send a delegation to appeal to him to come back. I did not oppose this move, and accepted his decision to return as Deputy President of UMNO but not as Deputy Prime Minister.

11. Then Musa persuaded his arch enemy, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah to contest for President against me while he contested for Deputy President.

13. I did not stop them from campaigning although they made scurrilous allegations against me. UMNO members were not prevented from attending campaign meetings held by them. It is believed that money was used to persuade UMNO delegates to the General Assembly to vote for them.
14. In the event I just managed to win with a 43 vote majority while my running mate, Ghaffar had a 41 vote majority.
15. Tengku Razaleigh's supporters took this issue to court seeking to force a new election. The court decided that UMNO was an illegal party. I had to re-register UMNO as New UMNO, UMNO Baru. Tengku Razaleigh formed a new party which he called Semangat 46 or Spirit of '46 (the year UMNO was formed).
16. Both parties tried to attract the members of the former UMNO. UMNO Baru (New UMNO) gained the most number of the former members and new members.
17. Dato Seri Abdullah opted to join UMNO Baru. Even though he supported Tengku Razaleigh I did not stop him. However I did not appoint him as a Minister.
18. Semangat 46 did badly in the General Elections in 1990 and again in 1995. Tengku Razaleigh dissolved the party and rejoined UMNO. I did not bear a grudge against him. His colleague Dato Seri Rais Yatim was reappointed a Minister.
19. Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi contested for membership of the UMNO Supreme Council and won. At the next election he contested for Vice President and came in second.

They had to persuade NGO's to invite me so that the few brave souls among them could attend anonymously. UMNO Members of Parliament and State Assemblymen would not attend even the NGO organised meetings.
24. Invitations by universities are not allowed and a few who did had to withdraw their invitations.
25. When I requested to see Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak, the UMNO Deputy President and Deputy Prime Minister after the Election he said he had to get the permission of the Prime Minister.

After a long time when the Press asked if I had met the Deputy Prime Minister, I had to explain that I had not because the Deputy Prime Minister had not obtained the permission of the Prime Minister yet. When I was Deputy Prime Minister I never had to get the permission of the Prime Minister to see anyone. Neither had my four Deputies to ask permission from me. They were free to see anyone they liked.
27. After the Press reported my reply, the Prime Minister denied he did not give permission. Subsequently Dato Seri Najib invited me to see him in his house. I went and I found that he was not willing to go against anything the Prime Minister said or did. It was obvious that he was afraid of the Prime Minister. Why he is afraid I do not know. But all the Cabinet Ministers, Members of the UMNO Supreme Council, Divisional Heads are afraid of Prime Minister Abdullah. They were never afraid of me when I was Prime Minister.
28. After the 2008 Elections even UMNO members blamed Dato Seri Abdullah. Many had secretly voted for the opposition because they did not like him or his administration. He was asked to step down by many UMNO Division heads who were not in the Government. Those in the Government gave unlimited support fearing to lose their jobs.
29. None of the UMNO top leaders dared to challenge him. None dared to say anything openly against him. UMNO Supreme Council members and Cabinet members all chorused their support of him. Support for me when I was Prime Minister was never total.
30. Despite the frequent challenges and criticisms against me when I was UMNO President and Prime Minister, despite the fact that UMNO members and leaders actually stood against me and nearly toppled me, despite UMNO leaders contesting against me, Abdullah apologists and the Western press still insist that I was a dictator who is worse than Abdullah. That I had stepped down voluntarily, something which dictators have never done, has not lessened this dictator label on me.
31. This argument that I was worse than Dato Abdullah will be trotted out every time I criticise or point out the authoritarianism of the Abdullah regime. If people are so blind as not to see who is the dictator and who is not, it is their right. But when you deliberately ignore the truth you will lose credibility. That is why today very few read the Government controlled mainstream newspapers or watch the news reports on Government controlled television. Blogs have replaced the conventional media as sources of information.
32. That is why I have taken to blogging. The number of visitors I get (three million in two months) and the comments they make tell the true story about how the people really feel. To a huge majority of these people I am not a dictator. For me that counts.
33. The apologists will go on repeating the old cliché but it will get them nowhere. Clearly people just don't believe.

2. Kononnya sikapnya ini diperturunkan daripada saya. Malahan pemberita itu juga mengatakan yang saya lebih buruk daripada Dato Seri Abdullah.
3. Media Barat dan pengkritik-pengkritik saya di kalangan pembangkang dan sesetengah pihak di kalangan media tempatan telah melabelkan saya sebagai diktator semasa saya menjadi Perdana Menteri.

Sebab itu setiap kali saya mengkritik rejim Dato Seri Abdullah, mereka dan pembodek-pembodek Abdullah akan tuduh yang saya ini lebih buruk semasa menjadi Perdana Menteri.
8. Terutama sekali tuduhan berkenaan pentadbiran kuku besi yang kononnya saya amalkan dalam Kerajaan dan parti. Hakikat yang mereka tidak mahu lihat ialah semasa saya pegang kerusi Presiden UMNO, pemimpin-pemimpin lain tidak takut melawan saya.

Saya tidak bantah gerakan ini dan menerima keputusannya kembali sebagai Timbalan Presiden UMNO, tetapi tidak sebagai Timbalan Perdana Menteri.

13. Saya tidak sekat mereka berkempen walaupun mereka membuat tuduhan-tuduhan yang memburukkan imej saya. Ahli UMNO tidak dihalang menghadiri mesyuarat kempen mereka. Adalah dipercayai bahawa wang telah digunakan bagi memujuk perwakilan UMNO ke mesyuarat Agong untuk mengundi mereka.
14. Dalam pertandingan tersebut saya menang dengan majoriti 43-undi manakala Ghafar menang dengan 41-undi.
15. Penyokong-penyokong Tengku Razaleigh membawa isu ini ke mahkamah untuk memaksa pemilihan semula. Mahkamah putuskan UMNO sebagai pertubuhan yang tidak sah. Saya terpaksa daftar semula UMNO sebagai UMNO Baru. Tengku Razaleigh menubuhkan parti baru yang dipanggil Semangat 46 bersempena tahun kelahiran UMNO.
16. Kedua-dua parti cuba menarik ahli UMNO lama. UMNO Baru berjaya pikat ahli lama dan ahli baru yang teramai.
17. Dato Seri Abdullah memilih untuk sertai UMNO Baru. Walaupun dia menyokong Tengku Razaleigh saya tidak menyekatnya. Tetapi saya tidak lantik dia sebagai Menteri.

Mereka tidakpun pernah takut semasa saya menjadi Perdana Menteri.

Bahawa saya telah meletak jawatan tanpa paksaan, sesuatu yang tidak pernah dilakukan oleh mana-mana diktator, ini tidak sedikitpun mengurangkan dakwaan diktator terhadap saya.

Itulah sebabnya kenapa hari ini tidak ramai yang membaca akhbar arus perdana yang dikawal Kerajaan atau menonton laporan berita di stesen televisyen yang dikawal Kerajaan. Blog telah mengambil alih peranan media konvensyenal sebagai sumber maklumat.
32. Itulah juga sebabnya saya mulakan blog saya ini. Pengunjung yang saya terima (tiga juta dalam masa dua bulan) dan maklumbalas yang mereka buat mencerita keadaan sebenar tentang apa yang mereka rasa. Kepada majority yang besar di kalangan mereka saya bukan diktator. Bagi saya ini penting.

4. Label adalah satu cara untuk burukkan imej pemimpin bagi mengurangkan popularitinya.
5. Lee Kuan Yew melabel saya "Malay Ultra" dan rakyat Malaysia berketurunan Cina terkejut atas pelantikan saya sebagai Timbalan Perdana Menteri oleh Tun Hussein Onn. Mereka jangka yang saya akan merampas kekayaan dan hak mereka untuk diberikan kepada orang Melayu.
6. Tetapi selepas saya mengambil alih, mereka bertukar fikiran dan sokong saya. Sebelum saya letak jawatan, pengundi-pengundi Cina telah pastikan saya dapat majority 2/3 pada 1999, pilihanraya umum terakhir yang saya terajui.
7. Tetapi pemberita barat masih kekal dengan khayalan mereka yang saya ini diktator, anti kaum Cina dan perasuah disamping memberi keistimewaan kepada kroni-kroni saya. Pemberita mereka akan membaca laporan-laporan lama dan akan menganggap ianya sebagai benar. Mereka tidak pernah membuat sebarang penyelidikan. Sebab itu setiap kali saya mengkritik rejim Dato Seri Abdullah, mereka dan pembodek-pembodek Abdullah akan tuduh yang saya ini lebih buruk semasa menjadi Perdana Menteri.
8. Terutama sekali tuduhan berkenaan pentadbiran kuku besi yang kononnya saya amalkan dalam Kerajaan dan parti. Hakikat yang mereka tidak mahu lihat ialah semasa saya pegang kerusi Presiden UMNO, pemimpin-pemimpin lain tidak takut melawan saya.
9. Dato (sekarang Tun) Musa Hitam, timbalan saya yang pertama melepaskan jawatannya di dalam Kerajaan dan parti. Sudah tentu saya marah dengan tindakannya. Tetapi Majlis Tertinggi UMNO memutuskan untuk menghantar delegasi memujuk beliau kembali. Saya tidak bantah gerakan ini dan menerima keputusannya kembali sebagai Timbalan Presiden UMNO, tetapi tidak sebagai Timbalan Perdana Menteri.
10. Saya melantik (Tun) Ghaffar Baba sebagai Timbalan Perdana Menteri.
11. Selepas itu Musa menghasut musuh ketatnya, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah supaya bertanding kerusi Presiden menentang saya dan dia sendiri bertanding jawatan Timbalan Presiden.
12. Mereka berdua disokong oleh (Dato Seri) Abdullah Badawi, (Dato Seri) Syed Hamid Albar, (Tan Sri) Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, (Dato Seri) Rais Yatim dan ramai lagi. Mereka menjelajah ke seluruh negara memujuk Bahagian-bahagian dan ahli UMNO untuk menolak saya dan melantik mereka di Perhimpunan Agong UMNO.
13. Saya tidak sekat mereka berkempen walaupun mereka membuat tuduhan-tuduhan yang memburukkan imej saya. Ahli UMNO tidak dihalang menghadiri mesyuarat kempen mereka. Adalah dipercayai bahawa wang telah digunakan bagi memujuk perwakilan UMNO ke mesyuarat Agong untuk mengundi mereka.
14. Dalam pertandingan tersebut saya menang dengan majoriti 43-undi manakala Ghafar menang dengan 41-undi.
15. Penyokong-penyokong Tengku Razaleigh membawa isu ini ke mahkamah untuk memaksa pemilihan semula. Mahkamah putuskan UMNO sebagai pertubuhan yang tidak sah. Saya terpaksa daftar semula UMNO sebagai UMNO Baru. Tengku Razaleigh menubuhkan parti baru yang dipanggil Semangat 46 bersempena tahun kelahiran UMNO.
16. Kedua-dua parti cuba menarik ahli UMNO lama. UMNO Baru berjaya pikat ahli lama dan ahli baru yang teramai.
17. Dato Seri Abdullah memilih untuk sertai UMNO Baru. Walaupun dia menyokong Tengku Razaleigh saya tidak menyekatnya. Tetapi saya tidak lantik dia sebagai Menteri.
18. Semangat 46 kalah teruk pada Pilihanraya Umum 1990 dan sekali lagi pada 1995. Tengku Razaleigh membubarkan parti tersebut dan kembali kepada UMNO. Saya tidak menyimpan apa-apa dendam terhadapnya. Dato Seri Rais Yatim dilantik Menteri.
19. Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi bertanding dan menang kerusi Ahli Majlis tertinggi UMNO. Pada pemilihan seterusnya dia bertanding Naib Presiden dan mendapat tempat kedua.
20. Selepas itu saya membuat rumusan bahawa ahli UMNO hendakkan beliau dan saya pun lantik beliau sebagai Menteri Kabinet. Saya tidak boleh ketepikan kehendak ahli UMNO. Parti ini adalah hak ahli, bukan hak saya seorang.
21. Dianya kemudian dilantik oleh saya sebagai Timbalan Perdana Menteri dan sebagai kebiasaan oleh dipilih perwakilan UMNO sebagai Timbalan Presiden.
22. Semua ini berlaku semasa saya memegang jawatan Presiden UMNO dan Perdana Menteri. Tetapi sebaik sahaja saya meletak jawatan saya tidak dibenar berjumpa Menteri UMNO dan lain-lain pemimpin UMNO dan mereka juga tidak dibenar berjumpa saya atau menghadiri apa-apa acara dimana saya berucap. Arahan ini kekal hingga hari ini.
23. Ahli UMNO yang menjemput saya berucap dipanggil Menteri Besar UMNO dan polis dan diarah tarik balik jemputan mereka. Selepas itu cawangan-cawangan UMNO berhenti menjemput saya. Mereka terpaksa menggunakan Badan Bukan Kerajaan (NGO) agar yang berani di antara mereka dapat hadir secara senyap. Ahli Parlimen UMNO serta Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri tidak akan hadir walaupun mesyuarat di anjurkan NGO.
24. Jemputan oleh universiti juga tidak dibenarkan dan yang menjemput terpaksa tarik balik.
25. Apabila saya minta untuk berjumpa Timbalan Presiden UMNO dan Timbalan Perdana Menteri Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak selepas Pilihanraya Umum, dia berkata yang dia terpaksa dapatkan kebenaran Perdana Menteri dahulu.
26. Setelah beberapa lama, pihak akhbar bertanya kepada saya jika saya telah berjumpa Timbalan Perdana Menteri, saya terpaksa terang kepada mereka yang saya masih belum dapat jumpa kerana Timbalan Perdana Menteri masih belum dapat kebenaran Perdana Menteri. Semasa saya menjadi Timbalan Perdana Menteri saya tidak perlu dapatkan kebenaran Perdana Menteri untuk bertemu sesiapa. Begitu juga dengan empat Timbalan saya, mereka tidak perlu dapatkan kebenaran saya. Mereka bebas berjumpa sesiapa yang mereka suka.
27. Selepas akhbar melapor jawapan saya, Perdana Menteri berkata dia tidak pun tidak beri kebenaran. Sejurus itu Dato Seri Najib juga jemput saya ke rumahnya. Saya pergi dan saya dapati yang dia tidak sanggup untuk menentang apa sahaja yang Perdana Menteri kata atau lakukan. Jelaslah yang dia takut kepada Perdana Menteri. Kenapa dianya begitu takut saya tak tahu. Tetapi semua Menteri Kabinet, ahli Majlis Tertinggi UMNO, Ketua-Ketua Bahagian memangpun takut dengan Perdana Menteri Abdullah. Mereka tidakpun pernah takut semasa saya menjadi Perdana Menteri.
28. Selepas Pilihanraya Umum 2008, ahli UMNO pun menyalahkan Dato Seri Abdullah. Ramai yang telah secara senyap mengundi pembangkang kerana mereka tidak sukakannya mahupun pentadbirannya. Dia diminta letak jawatan oleh ramai Ketua-Ketua Bahagian yang tidak memegang jawatan Kerajaan. Yang berada dalam Kerajaan memberi sokongan tidak belah-bagi kerana takut kehilangan jawatan.
29. Tidak ada seorangpun pemimpin tinggi UMNO yang berani menentangnya. Tidak ada seorangpun yang berani menyatakan apa-apa secara terbuka terhadapnya. Ahli Majlis Tertinggi UMNO dan Menteri-menteri Kabinet bersatu suara menyokong beliau. Sokongan kepada saya semasa saya Perdana Menteri tidak pernah menyeluruh.
30. Walaupun kerap berlaku tentangan dan kritikan terhadap saya semasa mejadi Presiden UMNO dan Perdana Menteri, walaupun ahli UMNO dan pemimpin parti jelas menentang saya dan hampir menjatuhkan saya, walaupun pemimpin UMNO bertanding melawan saya, pembodek-pembodek Abdullah dan media Barat masih lagi berkeras mengatakan bahawa saya diktator yang lebih buruk daripada Abdullah. Bahawa saya telah meletak jawatan tanpa paksaan, sesuatu yang tidak pernah dilakukan oleh mana-mana diktator, ini tidak sedikitpun mengurangkan dakwaan diktator terhadap saya.
31. Tuduhan yang saya lebih buruk daripada Dato Seri Abdullah akan dibangkitkan setiap kali saya mengkritik atau menunjukkan penguasaan kuku besi rejim Abdullah. Jika orang terlalu buta dan tidak dapat melihat siapa diktator dan siapa bukan, itu adalah hak mereka. Tetapi apabila kita sengaja menolak kebenaran kita akan hilang kredibiliti. Itulah sebabnya kenapa hari ini tidak ramai yang membaca akhbar arus perdana yang dikawal Kerajaan atau menonton laporan berita di stesen televisyen yang dikawal Kerajaan. Blog telah mengambil alih peranan media konvensyenal sebagai sumber maklumat.
32. Itulah juga sebabnya saya mulakan blog saya ini. Pengunjung yang saya terima (tiga juta dalam masa dua bulan) dan maklumbalas yang mereka buat mencerita keadaan sebenar tentang apa yang mereka rasa. Kepada majority yang besar di kalangan mereka saya bukan diktator. Bagi saya ini penting.
33. Pembodek akan terus ulang lagu lama tetapi ini tidak akan membawa mereka kemana-mana. Jelas sekali rakyat sudah tidak percaya.

1. Sekilas pandang sudah 5 tahun Pak Lah memerintah.
2. Dan sepanjang itulah juga tidak ada satu pembangunan yang nampak di mata kasar kita semua. Mana pergi perbelanjaan berbillion ringgit kerajaan Pak Lah.
3. Perbelanjaan RMK-9 sahaja RM200 billion,(minta tambahan pulak RM30billion)tetapi satu pun kita tidak nampak atau tidak ada yang boleh disebut seingat saya. Saya rasa rakan2 sekalian juga sependapat saya.
4. Kalau TUN dapat bina EMPAYAR PETRONAS, Proton, bangunan KLCC, KL Tower, KLIA, LITAR SEPANG, bangunan pentadbiran PUTRAJAYA, PICC, LIMA, STAR dan PUTRA LRT (sekarang kepunyaan RAPID), MONOREL dan bermacam lagi yang boleh disebut dan tulis di sini dalam 22 tahun pentadbiran.
5. Tiada satu pun yang saya boleh tulis hasil perbelanjaan Pak Lah dalam 5 tahun.
6. Setelah kesilapan demi kesilapan yang dilakukan oleh pentadbiran kerajaan sekarang, tibalah masanya Pak Lah letak jawatan.

To the people of Malaysia, The Malaysian Government is no longer a government of Malaysia. They are a government of their own pride. The leaders are only interested in making what think right, and never put any effort to hear what the people want and what the people are shouting about. They are only worried about their own power either in controlling things or in controlling their own self benefits.
We as Malaysians are tired of the deaf and dumb government, which was wrongly elected by their supporters. If the government did not have any power in controlling SPR and ACA, i believe that they will no longer be in power. It is only because they won in Sabah and Sarawak that they are able to form the Malaysian Government, if not BN is already history!

I do remember the time that you almost lost to Ku Li. Yes, of course there were repercussions. If someone is so forgiving (stupid in my opinion) in politics, where the line between friends and foes are not distinguished, I think he won't last long.
You are correct that you did not go all out to kill them politically or silence them the way you are silenced now. I believe you could have done a thorough job if you wanted to. In those days there were no internet to voice any opposition unlike today, but you did not do that.
With AAB, he does not tolerate dissent. The proof is the way you are silenced even just to be a delegate to the UMNO AGM. You are not even asking to challenge him directly, even then the machinery used to silence you is unbelievable.

Is blogging here would be all you could do for us only? I hope not. As voicing out via blogging will not resolve anything that is happening in our country. I'm sure you knew very well too.
Nevertheless, keep on pen down all your thoughts, in the few months down the road, you can produce a book about all your thoughts here. That book I foresee would be the best selling book in this country and could be the next popular book besides Bible/Quran.
If there is no action you could pursue of which we could understand in your position, I suggest you leave this legacy in written in whatever format such as book, audio, video format, scripts-text, magazines, maintained blogging, research/case studies/thesis, podcast and many others.
As much as we want, your legacy will be preserved to our many many more younger generations to come. We may then have a University/College/Institue with your name for us to produce many more greatest leaders in the next generations. One of the major I suggest would be LEADERSHIP.

Berdasarkan pengalaman berkerja di Kumpulan Pinang di Kelana Jaya, Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) terserlah sifat `diktator' nya. Pengurusan atasan Kumpulan Pinang, Dato Annuar Othman, menurut apa saja arahan tanpa pertimbangan perniagaan dan prosedur syarikat. Bayaran bulanan dibuat kepada kroroni atas arahan DSAI. Kroroni terdiri daripada ahli politik, penasihat pakaian, body guard,penasihat peragaan dll. Bayaran berbentuk elaun pengarah mahupun gaji tanpa hadir kerja. Kumpulan Pinang seperti `broker house' di dalam pengedalian projek di Pulau Pinang, Lembah Klang dan sebagainya. Kontraktor yang layak mendapat kontrak diketepikan oleh kerana secebis nota dari DSAI.
Tun tidak perlu rasa bersalah kerana ada pemimpin lain yang lebih bersifat `kuku besi'.

Abdullah Ahmad terlalu amat bebal untuk menyedari kesalahan beliau.
Dikala rakyat menyuarakan betapa muaknya mereka terhadap politicking yang terlampau tanpa mengira kesukaran rakyat, beliau mengaitkan bantahan itu kepada fitnah terhadap Najib.
He doesn't seem (or is it a case of doesn't care) to understand that the rakyat needs someone to take charge of bringing this country out of its doldrums and uncertainties.
Nobody seems to leading the country under the kepimpinan Abdullah. Perhaps this is what constitute a non-dictator, Tun. Someone who does not lead and just flip and flops through every measure that he implements.
Think something today, do it tommorrow, and then when people say: What?!, withdraw it the next day. How can someone lead the nation in such a way where planning is almost non-existence.
I once gave Abdullah the benefit of the doubt in thinking that he and his Cabinet of young uns would come out with a good (not brilliant, but good is good enough) stratagem in the 9th Malaysia Plan Mid Term Review.
The whole country knew what happened to that. The extent of the MTR of the 9th Malaysia Plan can be seen in the coverage afforded by the MSMedia and the blogs themselves.
The only paper I read, Star, gave it one measly centrespread. No follow up. Nothing.
Trcia Yeoh of CPPS said the lack of information was rather loud (not her words, but mine) and I agree with her.
It was a good chance for Abdullah to show the country that he is OUR leader, and that the MTR would provide the impetus to push the country forward.
We were all waiting for an answer. Are we going to tighten our belts? Our we increasing domestic spending to spur the economy? What fiscal stimulus is in store?
We waited with bated breath as much was promised but in the end...
What happens? HE FLOPS, yet again.
It is a sad state of where the country is heading.
YOUR Vision 2020 is still quoted off and on, but the way Abdullah is leading the country, it might just be a much hype rethoric with little in actual value, just like his term as Premier.

Let the western media and people think that way including my PhD supervisor in Australia. They (i.e. western) want us not to be strong, stupid and be superior. BUT to my mind you are not and you will never be a dictator. In fact you are a genius leader during your time. This has been coveyed to me through an Australian in his writing entitled "THE AUSTRALIAN HERD: Looking Beyond the Obvious of Complacence and Ignorance". Memang betul tun.. ada sesuatu yang tak kena di antara Dato Seri Najid (DSN) dan Dato Seri Abdullah (DSA) sehingga DSN sentiasa nak 'menghormati' dan 'mendengar' kata Pak Lah.. mungkin ada 'rahsia sulit' beliau diketahui dan dipegang oleh Pak Lah???
Adakah betulnya Pak Lah yang mengamalkan 'pratis' ini selain daripada 'gula-gula' supaya semua anggota-anggota cabinetnya menjadi 'Yes'man kepada beliau semasa membuat apa jua keputusanpun?
Kalau macam ini, hancurlah negara and rakyat jelita ini!
Sejauh mana yang boleh disimpulkan kepada Kerajaan Pak Lah : KERAJAAN YANG GAGAL!!!

When the website says that Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will response personally, even secondary school children are laughing out loud. Because they know, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi always lied. He does not mean what he says, and he says when he does not mean.

Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is a Joker. He can be fun to watch as a funny folly in a comedy he prefers.
He can choose to show a face so nice, a smiling so sweet, but he himself has portrayed a true image, so ugly, a dictator, and the worst of perception amongst the masses.
No one should be afraid of this comedian. Yet, he is nice on the outside but ugly on the inside, and he is unpredictable too, that is why some are probably afraid of him. He might be standing still, but the one who he seems to be encroaching on this territorial powers may be hit from an unseen forces surrounding her or him.
The wisdom of UMNO is not giving Abdullah Ahmad Badawi a nomination for UMNO Presidency. But supporting Abdullah Ahmad Badawi with a nomination out of unnecessary fear, is a doing of allowing Abdullah Ahmad Badawi using UMNO as a platform for disaster.
Many like me, when a leader is good, I say good, and when a leader is not good, I say not good. We are amongst those who know how to judge the best leader and the worst leader.
Let all now know, as a leader, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, you are to me the best of all leaders!

labelling is common and i believe it is to downgrade people and lessen our popularity. meaning people are jealous and plan many malicious plot.
envy is a better word than jealousy coz envy itself has some strive for positive competitiveness. kebanyakkanya dengki especially melayu dgn melayu. takde modal lain nak attack. modal facts mereka tak pandai so jalan senang 'panggil2' lah ' nama'(labelling) nak divert benda baik yg kita buat. mangsa selalunya trgolong dari org2 yg pandai buat keje dan susah nak dipemainkan. tapi as long as we admire ourselves, we can stll go onnnn and onnnn...(nak kata syok sendiri katalah...peduli apa kannn...)

Dengan kehendak Allah, Abdullah akan tumbang akhirnya..jalau bukan di tangan orang Melayu pada bulan 12 ini..mungkin di tangan rakyat Malaysia pada PRU13..atau mungkin lebih awal atas kehendak Ilahi...TETAPI...turunnya atau tumbangnya Abdullah bukanlah penyelesaian mutlak kepada masalah UMNO/Melayu..Politik wang dan budaya mengampu akan teru berleluasa tak kira siapa yang menggantikan beliau..Ianya sudah menjadi satu penyakit kronik yang tiada ubat di kala ini..
Apa yang perlu ialah satu pendekatan revolusioner untuk merobah UMNO dari segi perlembagaan nya untuk menjadikan parti ini subur dengan budaya demokrasi dan ketelusan..untuk memastikan kesinambungan perjuangan Melayu yang takkan selesai...
Kalau UMNO dikhianati..maknanya Melayu turut dikhianati..dan sesiapa yang menerajui UMNO wajib bertanggungjawab menjaga UMNO..bukan saja Pak Lah sekarang tapi sesiapa jua yang akan menerajui UMNO kelak..

1)Saya adalah antara ahli umno yg menentang semangat 46,ketika itu saya di Kg.Soeharto Hulu Selangor.Sudah 20 tahun kini,dan saya masih lagi melihat org melayu struggling dengan kuasa politik yg pada pandangan saya semakin terhakis.Senario yg dapat saya fahami ketika ini ialah kita orang melayu sahaja yg terlalu berlembut atau agak bersopan dengan bangsa lain...maafkan saya kerana saya bukan berniat untuk bersifat racist disini,TETAPI dari pemerhatian dan pergaulan saya dengan bangsa lain dan dari tulisan akhbar-akhbar mereka,adakah kita sedar bahawa kewujudan bangsa Melayu di Malaysia ini sedang mereka pertikaikan.
2)Pertanyaan saya kepada TUN.Apakah yang Tun akan lakukan andai Tun masih berkuasa dan apakah saranan tun pada penguasa yg memerintah sekarang untuk menghadapi masalah diatas???
3)Persamaan yg ada antara dulu dan sekarang ialah,apabila masuk parti politik,sebahagian besar yg berjawatan dari pusat hinggalah cawangan,apa yg dikejar hanyalah tender-tender dari projek kerajaan.Perbezaannya pula,sama seperti yg Tun katakan iaitu dasar menyekat kebebasan untuk bertanding dan menyatakan pendapat...KERANA ITULAH,saya akhir-akhir ini amat rasa jelek dan muak untuk membaca dan menonton berita dari arus media perdana..(utk makluman,DULU saya membaca STAR dan menonton BULETIN UTAMA).SEKARANG saya beralih kepada blogs dan menonton saluran lain pada pukul 8.00pm.
4)Semoga MALAYSIA tidak jatuh ketangan PENJAJAH SEMULA setelah 51 tahun MERDEKA,tidak kira apa bentuk penjajahan pun,itulah yg kita harus berganding bahu menentangnya.

Banyak lagi hal lain yang maha penting perlu diuruskan demi kesejahteraan rakyat, namun apa yang kami dapat ialah cerita-cerita sampah ahli politik kita yang masih leka dengan kemenangan yang tak seberapa. Kalau lah Tun masih jadi PM Malaysia, saya 1 juta% yakin boleh tidur lena kerana mempunyai pemimpin berkualiti AAA seperti Tun. Alangkah bagusnya kalau Tun dapat beraksi semula di pentas politik negara. Tapi itu mungkin hanya mimpi.

Your immense contribution to Malaysia had been solidly penned and stamped in our "Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah" book. There should not be a single soul in Malaysia can deny this facts. Regardless of what people say or try to say about you , a lot more people know the truth and appreciate what you have done for Malaysia. People can say a lot of things but when it comes to actually getting things done as what you have done over 22 years...i do not even think they can do in 100 years..
Malaysia during the economic crisis was not so unstable and wreak with rumours like how it is now...and that was a major problem..
I wish you are still our PM..I wish that you have long life to continue to guide us and I wish that with your vision we can still be a prosperous nation..and I hope wishes do come true.

I only see my self as a Malaysian, Though we are a multiracial country, i only see one color. we didnt have to separate to say iam chinese indian or malay, we know we have many races,yet we never felt neglected.That has made me very happy to be a proud Malaysian, so proud that when i travel i just coulnt wait for people of other nations to ask where iam from, because i want to tell them i come from a country where all Malaysian should be proud off.During your time, you as our ruler and prime minister, you made us proud,There was a time not much foreigners from Europe especially know much about Malaysia.But during your time the whole world knows where malaysia is and how Malaysia has progressed and developed into a beautiful country, and they salute. To day is a sad story, why do you have to go.I have always respected and adoured your work and how you took care of malaysia.You may not be perfect but you did the best for us, will this time come to us , to all malaysian. for i believe it will .If only people can understand sincerly what you are doing for malaysia.

The Western media today claims to uphold the fine ideals of journalism which includes its obligation to the truth, discipline of verification and maintain an independence from those they cover.
Unfortunately in the press conference Tun mentioned, none of these tenets were held by this Western journalist.
The failure of the Western cannot be better exemplified in the manner it handles and reports the tragedy of September 11 and the subsequent colonization of Iraq by American forces. From two thousand casualties in New York World Trade Centre, now it is estimated between 150,000 and a million people had been killed in Iraq since the American invasion.
A lesson to be learnt here is the media is not infallible. They are run by humans and humans tend to err.
The blackening of Tun's good name and achievements will bear little fruit. By and large, many have resorted to the Internet for their daily consumption of information and news. The mainstream media that spouts mis-informations and spin are gradually being sidelined by the public.
And no amount of spin will be able to save BN as the reality of economic and financial hardships starts knocking upon the people and their rejection of the current administration becomes total.
Selain dari fanatik DSAI semua orang mengakui akan kepimpinan Tun sebagai Perdana Menteri yang berwibawa dan Tun seorang yang bijak menggunakan kuasa.Pak Lah berkuasa, tapi tidak bijak menggunakannya.Berbeza dengan apa yang dikatakan diktator.Ini fakta, cuma akhir-akhir ini kempen memburukan Tun terlalu ketara.Banyak fakta telah di pesongkan maksudnya.
Pak Lah bukan diktator tapi ROBOT DIKTATOR, beliau dikawal oleh individu tertentu untuk menjadi diktator. Untuk kawal robot diktator kita kena cari orang yang kawal robot tersebut. Ingatan robot tersebut terhad untuk bergerak lebih jauh. Pengawal robot tersebut perlu diberi perhatian.Robot tak berkuasa tanpa alat kawalan.

Sebenarnya kesedaran politik di kalangan rakyat Malaysia meningkat pada tahun 1997, iaitu selepas Anwar Ibrahim dipecat daripada Timbalan Perdana Menteri.
Semenjak itu ramai orang yang tidak pernah aktif dalam politik menyertai politik. Itulah sebabnya ada bahagian-bahagian tertentu PKR yang dipimpin oleh orang-orang yang tidak pernah bergiat dalam politik. Ini termasuk di kalangan penjual ikan dan sebagainya.
Mereka ini hanyalah mangsa penipuan Anwar Ibrahim. Mereka hanya mengenali Anwar Ibrahim melalui TV semasa beliau menjadi TPM dan melalui pidato-pidatonya selepas dia dipecat.
Apa yang mereka tahu adalah Anwar seorang yang menentang politik wang, kronisme, nepotisme dsb. Dr. Mahathir adalah seorang diktator. Mahkamah Malaysia adalah tidak adil dsb. Mereka terpengaruh dengan propaganda yang dibawa oleh Anwar.
Mereka tidak pernah tahu siapakah Anwar sebenarnya dan bagaimana media pembangkang seperti Harakah dan majalah Tamadun menggambarkan Anwar sebagai political animal yang rakus mengejar kuasa, seorang yang menggunakan wang untuk kepentingan politik, seorang yang mengayakan kroni dan ahli keluarga di sebalik pidatonya yang kononnya menentang perkara-perkara tersebut.
Ramai juga yang tidak mengetahui bahawa orang yang pertama yang mendedahkan tentang salah laku seks Anwar adalah dari kalangan pembangkang.
Ramai juga yang lupa bahawa ketika Anwar dipecat, ramai penceramah-penceramah PAS yang berkata "Inilah bala buat Anwar!"
Tetapi Presiden PAS ketika itu, Ustaz Fadzil Nor adalah seorang yang opportunis. Beliau menziarah rumah Anwar dan dari situlah dua pihak yang saling bermusuhan mula mengadakan kerjasama. "Enemy of my enemy is my friend..."
PAS telah menghentikan segala bentuk pendedahan terhadap Anwar dan bersekongkol dengan Anwar dalam usaha membunuh karakter/imej Dr. Mahathir dan kerajaan BN serta kepercayaan orang ramai terhadap sistem perundangan negara.
Namun pada hari ini ramai yang telah lupa atau tidak tahu tentang sejarah penting ini.
Anehnya Pak Lah dan orang-orangnya turut menggunakan permainan yang sama bagi memburukkan imej Dr. Mahathir. Mereka seolah-olah membenarkan tuduhan pembangkang terhadap Dr. Mahathir dan kerajaan sebelum ini.
Inilah Pak Lah...

The people who labelled you as a dictator are those who do not have the chance to gain under your leadership. What I mean is that these people are the ones who you think not appropriate to lead, not appropiate to award projects to, and so on. So when they don't get what they want, they go on smearing your image by calling you a dictator.
I would like to think every leader have their own cronies. While the current PM's cronies are within the family, your cronies are the ones you think approriate to lead the country, to award projects to and so on, which I don't think they fall under the category of your cronies.
So Tun, YOU ARE NOT A DICTATOR.

Saya tidak nampak sebab mengapa orang ingin menuduh Tun sebegini rupa.Bila mengaitkan media barat, tiada satu apapun yang dapat mereka banggakan.Pada saya, sebagai orang luar mereka tidak berhak utk mencampuri atau mengkritik hal dalaman orang lain.Sebagai orang luar sewajarnya mereka menbuat kajian terperinci sebelum sewenang2nya menbuat sebarang tuduhan.Diaorang ni memang suka merosakkan keamanan negara orang lain.Suka tgk bangsa lain bergaduh,porak peranda baru senang hati.
Anehnya,dalam orang2 politik diatas sana,mencemuh dan mencaci Tun sebagai seorang diktator,saya sebagai rakyat tidak pula beranggapan begitu.Mungkin,mungkin saya akan berstuju sekiranya sebarang tingkahlaku mahupun kata2 Tun selama menjawat sebagai PM dahulu menyusahkan kami sebagai rakyat.Saya tidak ingat sebarang tindakan Tun yang mendesak rakyat agar berada dibawah telunjuk Tun.Tiada.
Diktator?perkataan itu mula dikaitkan dengan Tun setelah Anwar si penghasut itu dilucutkan jawatannya.Bayangkan jika diwaktu itu Tun tidak bertindak tegas mengawal segala yang berlaku didalam negara,contohnya menbiarkan anwar terus menerus dgn demonstrasinya,pasti hari ini kita masih melalui kemelut masalah yang tidak henti2.Sebab itu , bila Anwar disumbatkan didalam tahanan,saya rasa bersyukur.Aman sejahtra Malaysia.S
