Kebebasan Media
1.Selepas pengumuman Barisan Nasional kalah di Permatang Pauh pemberita datang ke Yayasan Kepimpinan Perdana dan mendesak supaya saya adakan satu sidang akhbar.
2.Dalam sidang akhbar itu saya secara terus terang berkata sidang akhbar tidak berguna kerana mereka tidak akan dibenar melaporkan jawapan-jawapan saya melainkan yang boleh diputar supaya ternampak saya menyokong Dato Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi dan Kerajaannya.
3.Seperti yang saya jangka laporan yang dibuat berlainan dengan apa yang saya perkatakan.

5.Yang dilapor ialah saya berkata penurunan harga minyak adalah baik untuk rakyat. Itu sahaja.
6.Saya juga ditanya tentang apakah perancangan saya selepas Permatang Pauh. Apakah saya akan kembali ke UMNO?
7.Saya ingatkan mereka bahawa saya keluar UMNO dengan bersyarat. Saya akan mohon kembali ke UMNO jika Dato Seri Abdullah tidak lagi menjadi presidennya, iaitu jika dibenar.
8.Apabila saya kembali saya akan turun padang dan bekerja keras untuk menarik balik bekas-bekas penyokong UMNO dan BN yang telah sokong parti lawan dalam Pilihanraya Umum ke-12.
9.Saya juga jelaskan yang kerja ini memerlukan masa. Kalau kepimpinan bertukar pada Jun 2010, tidak ada masa untuk pulih parti sebelum Pilihanraya Umum ke- 13.
10.Semua ini tidak sedikitpun dilapor dalam mana-mana akhbar atau televisyen. Inikah yang dikatakan kebebasan media yang dijanjikan oleh Dato Seri Abdullah?

1. When a Government makes a promise to the country and then reneges on its promise, then not only will the Government lose credibility but also any respect that the public may have for it.
2. I do not often agree with Malaysia-Today.net and Raja Petra Kamaruddin. He had been sometimes quite irresponsible. But court action had already been taken against him. He is not above the law and if he is found guilty there are already adequate punishment that can be passed against.
3. But to break a promise and to openly show that you can meddle with the security of the internet is to expose a degree of oppressive arrogance worthy of a totalitarian state.
4. I had once before written to a Government Minister that Malaysia has become a police state because the Government instructed the police to call up people who invited me to give talks and coerce them into withdrawing their invitation. The police is not supposed to do that. When the Government makes use of the police for extralegal work then the Government is guilty of abuse of power.
5. The Minister simply replied that I had retired and it was better for me to literally shut up.
6. Now this blockage of the blog is another evidence that this has become an authoritarian state, elections notwithstanding.
7. Where are we heading? The censorship of news in the mainstream media is known to the public. Certainly I know of the blackout on me and the spins on any news about me. Now this.
8. I know that things have been engineered to ensure Khairy Jamaluddin will win as UMNO Youth leader and Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi as President. Democracy in UMNO is dead. And when democracy dies in UMNO, the party itself will die.
9. I would like to say this to the Prime Minister and his minions. You may have the power now. But as in five States, you may lose power some day. And this will certainly happen because of your obsession to block all contrary opinion from being heard. It will blind you to the reality of the situation so that you will continue to do wrong things and the people will reject you totally.

Saya pecaya kepada PENGALAMAN.
PENGLAMAN ADALAH ILMU TERBESAR DALAM KEHIDUPAN.
PENGALAMAN TUN selama lebih setengah abad sebagai pemimpin dan negarawan menjadikan TUN lebih matang dan berpandangan jauh daripada semua pemimipin yang ada hari ini termasuklah DSAAB dan DSAI.
Tidak akan adanya sebab TUN menolak kepimpinan hari ini jika TANPA ASAS YANG KUKUH.
JADI bercakap hal DEMOKRASI, RASUAH, AUKU atau sebagainya boleh menampakkan kelemahan orang yang TUN TUJUKAN.
TETAPI pendapat saya TUN tidak akan ke mana jika menulis dan hanya bertindak sebagai 'PENGHIBUR' dan pembaca merasa 'TERHIBUR'.
SAYA ingin mengajukan TUN bertindak DEMI NEGARA MALAYSIA.
Bermula dengan 'TINDAKAN' BARU DAPAT MERUBAH KEADAAN.
CADANGAN SAYA:
1. TUN perlu mendapatkan sokongan calon pengganti PM yang TUN rasakan layak bertanding melawan PRESIDEN pada EGM UMNO akhir tahun ini dan mencalonkan beliau dengan sokongan MT UMNO.
2. TUN boleh mencabar PAK LAH supaya SATU PETI UNDI KHAS DIADAKAN semasa EGM UMNO nanti bagi melihat sama ada ahli-ahli UMNO masih yakin dengan presiden atau tidak.
3. TUN juga boleh mencadangkan atau mencabar satu poll online diadakan di website PEMUDA UMNO atau website UMNO sama ada mereka yakin dengan presiden hari ini.
SAYA YAKIN TUN LEBIH BIJAK DARI SAYA MENGENAI INI.

PR Kecil PERMATANG PAUH berakhir seperti yang DIRAMALKAN.
Dari 58,000 hanya 47,000 yang KELUAR MENGUNDI,
11,000 yang tak keluar mengundi. PUNCANYA:
1. KELIRU dan FRUST. Pengundi senyap yang tidak yakin dengan sistem dan keadaan politik MALAYSIA samaada dengan pihak KERAJAAN atau PEMBANGKANG.
2. TAKUT. Pengundi takut dengan PENYOKONG FANATIK kedua-dua parti terutamanya dari PKR. Terus-terang PR kecil PERMATANG PAUH adalah lain daripada PR kecil sebelum ini yang menampakkan golongan fanatik membuat kacau dan menDOMINASI JALAN-JALAN RAYA UTAMA dan PUSAT-PUSAT PENGUNDIAN dalam keadaan tidak terkawal.
3. CUTI. Kebanyakkan kilang dan syarikat swasta dari kawasan perindustrian PRAI dan BAHAGIAN PULAU tidak memberi cuti dan PELEPASAN untuk PENGUNDI keluar mengundi.
4. CUACA. Faktor musim tengkujuh minggu ini yang dialami bahagian UTARA SEMENANJUNG menyebabkan ramai tidak keluar mengundi. Hujan pada sebelah lewat pagi berterusan hingga ke awal petang yang kemudiannya diiringi hujan rintik hingga lewat petang.
SEBAB BN KALAH dan PKR MENANG.
1. ANWAR.
Sebab UTAMA adalah Anwar Ibrahim. Kepetahan Anwar berkata-kata adalah punca sebenar BN kalah. Anwar dapat menepis segala tohmahan atau kritikan yang dilemparkan ke atasnya dalam nada sinis dan berjenaka. Sesekali beliau menggunakan kredibilitinya berpidato yang menjanjikan NEGARA RAKYAT yang diwar-warkan. MALAM TERAKHIR KEMPEN, BAYANGKAN terdapat HAMPIR 1000 KERETA DAN RIBUAN MOTOSIKAL membanjiri JALAN BAHRU, JALAN UTAMA selepas SUSUR KELUAR KE BUKIT MERTAJAM DARI LEBUHRAYA PLUS mengakibatkan KESESAKAN sehingga 3 KM dari KAWASAN KEMPEN. BAYANGKAN RAKYAT DATANG KE SATU MAJLIS RIBUAN ORANG HANYA UNTUK MENDENGAR ANWAR BERCAKAP TANPA PERLU MENGGUNAKAN HIBURAN SEBAGAI MEDIUM PENARIK.
2. PAK LAH.
Tidak dapat tidak, faktor PAK LAH adalah antara punca kuat BN KALAH walaupun hanya hadir pada malam terakhir kempen. SOAL RASUAH, KRONISME dan NEPOTISME dieksploitasi ANWAR sebaik-baiknya dalam kempennya. RASUAH PERINGKAT TERTINGGI iaitu jaminan PAK LAH kepada NAJIB bagi mengambilalih pimpinan pada JUN 2010 dicanang Anwar. Begitu juga kisah KETUA UMNO BHGN PETALING JAYA SELATAN yang melaporkan kepada BPR RASUAH dilakukan PAK LAH untuk memberi keistimewaan dan cenderhati kepada perwakilan yang datang ke mesyuarat UMNO PUSAT disiarkan BERITA UTAMA RISALAH PKR dan kempennya. KEGAWATAN POLITIK DAN EKONOMI NEGARA digunakan ANWAR sebagai Agenda HARAPAN BARU RAKYAT MALAYSIA. Juga SOAL KRONISME dan NEPOTISME iaitu SCOMI yang mendapat projek kerajaan berbillion-billion dan jawatan dipegang KJ menjadi topik utama ANWAR di setiap kempennya. ANWAR ada berkata '
'Tanpa PAK MENTUA, SIAPA KJ?!!'
3. JENTERA KEMPEN.
Jentera kempen PEMBANGKANG 3x ganda lebih hebat dari Parti BN. Solat hajat PEMBANGKANG 2 malam sebelum kempen berakhir dihadiri hampir 10 ribu orang, jumlah bilik gerakan PKR adalah TIGA berbalas SATU berbanding BN, jumlah bendera PKR dan papan iklan ANWAR terlampau banyak(sehingga terfikir di hati dari mana datang dananya) menghiasi kempen dari sempadan PULAU PINANG-KEDAH,KULIM hingga seluruh PERMATANG PAUH juga di kawasan SEBERANG JAYA (kubu kuat BN). Semasa JENTERA BN diketuai NAJIB ke MEDAN SELERA SBRG JAYA berkempen,muncul JENTERA PKR diketuai ANWAR sehingga 400 orang membuatkan JENTERA BN BEREDAR tak sampai 5 minit.
4. PENGUNDI.
Terus-terang saya katakan ARIFF SHAH hanya menang di kawasan SEBERANG JAYA iaitu kawasan BANDAR. Kawasan LUAR BANDAR, PEMATANG BATU, PERDA, PERMATANG PASIR, PERMATANG RAWA, KUBANG SEMANG, PENANTI DAN GUAR PERAHU yang mewakili 2 DUN didominasi ANWAR dengan mudah. Apa yang boleh saya jelaskan, PENGUNDI-PENGUNDI ini percaya bahawa ANWAR dianiaya oleh TUN dan PAK LAH, mereka percaya KES LIWAT dan SUMPAH adalah satu konspirasi politik di samping ANWAR memperlecehkan SUMPAH SAIFUL dan SUMPAH NAJIB. Penyokong pembangkang kelihatan FANATIK dan begitu TAKSUB kepada ANWAR menepuk setiap kali ANWAR menaikkan suara dan bertambah riuh ketika ANWAR berseloka. Pengundi luar bandar mudah diperdayakan kerana menerima BULAT-BULAT semua yang dikatakan ANWAR tanpa berfikir panjang dan menyemak kebenaran tentang isu-isu yang diperkatakan. MALAHAN tidak terlintas di hati mereka mengenang kembali dan menyemak kesilapan yang bakal dilakukan ANWAR dalam krisis ekonomi 1998 juga keputusan mahkamah mengenai kes RASUAH dan LIWAT ANWAR.
KINI PR KECIL PERMATANG PAUH TINGGAL SEJARAH!!
ANWAR TELAH DIISTIHAR MENANG!!
KEPERCAYAAN KEPADA ANWAR SEMAKIN MENINGKAT, KEPERCAYAAN KEPADA BN SEMAKIN TUMBANG!!

Dear Tun,
Thank you for implementing this "no-boundaries" technology in this country. Many had benefited directly from this and so many more will look for its advantages.
And I'm sure everything has been measured before any action taken by your leadership and the government previously. Positive and negative are unseparated. And I'm sure you see that we, Malaysians, already capable of handling the truth and the lies in this era, though not all of us here (you know which one).
Anyway, for those who cant see beyond and has this feel that they are the absolute truth, pity to them.
This coming Merdeka Celebration is really sad for me to think about. Both my late grandfather were the fighter. And after retired, they really take some rest and both of them do knew you before they gone. They believe that this country will remain "Tanah Melayu" even after the name has change since they were served under Rejimen Askar melayu Di Raja.

As for my comment:
On the one hand I do agree that we must stay true to our MSC charter of not sensoring the internet. But on the other hand I do feel that Raja Petra has crossed the line many times over and he deserves what he gets.
The only thing is that I do not understand why the long arm of the law has been somewhat reluctant in acting against Raja Petra. Is he somehow 'immuned' because somebody allows him to go on a rampage against one political leader or another? IS it the case that he dares to play around with Statutory declarations because he knows that he is somehow protected? If so, then who is in a position to give that kind of protection? Must be a high ranking individual indeed. Or at least someone very very very well connected.
my personal opinion is that Raja petra should have been detained under the ISA a long time ago. Too little too late now.
Anyway, the fact remains that Malaysia is in the shape it is in today because of Badawi. Full stop. The man has got to go NOW.

You mentioned about some plan in year 2003 when you were PM. I personally feel that this is the way to do (with many good reasons) and I really respect your vision. These are indeed one of the darkest times in Malaysian history. People will look back at this era and see that this is the downfall of democracy and 'somewhat free speech' in Malaysia.
A true statesman should know when his time is up to rule.
A rational man would do what's necessary and what's right.
The individual who is currently holding on to power should step aside as there is no way in a million years he can change or sway the beliefs of Malaysians that what he is does can be considered as 'progress'.
When he steps down/aside, He will enter the annals of history as the one who has destroyed progress, free speech, democracy in Malaysia. He will then write in his journals that he did what he thought best for the nation. But will anyone actually believe him when he does so?
I doubt that he reads what is posted here. I doubt that he reads at all.

Syed Hamid tells why Malaysia Today was blocked
KUALA LUMPUR: The controversial Malaysia Today news portal was blocked by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM) because its editor ignored many warning letters, Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said.
“When they publish things that are libellous, slanderous or defamatory, it is natural for the SKMM to act against these websites whenever necessary,” he told a a press conference at Parliament lobby yesterday.
Syed Hamid said SKMM was only exercising its powers.
“We do not intend to curtail people’s freedom or right to express themselves. Everyone is subjected to the law, even websites and blogs,” he added.
On Wednesday, Malaysia Today editor Raja Petra Kamaruddin lashed out against the blocking of the online portal, saying it was a breach of the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) charter.
Under the MSC Malaysia 10-Point Bill of Guarantees, the Government promised to “ensure no Internet censorship”.
It was reported that all 21 Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in the country had been ordered by SKMM to block the controversial website.
The notices were sent out on Tuesday in accordance with Section 263 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.
Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum, the Deputy Minister of Energy, Water and Communications, said he was not aware that SKMM had ordered ISPs to block the website.
“I do not read Malaysia Today. Media practitioners must be sensitive to culture and religion,” he said.
Information Minister Datuk Ahmad Shabery Cheek declined comment as it was not under his jurisdiction.
SKMM chief operating officer Mohamed Sharil Mohamed Tarmizi, who is overseas, declined to elaborate, saying a press conference would be held to explain why such action was taken.
It is understood that this is not the first time SKMM has ordered a website to be blocked.

sometimes people just want to listen to what they want to hear. Unfortunately, what we want to hear is not necessarily what the reality is. Like, thinking we are doing OK when others see us a failure.
It can also be up to perception. But whose perception is the correct perception?? if leaders think they are doing OK , that we are not as bad as Zimbabwe, but the rakyat think otherwise, because they have achieved greater self actualisation, or have known better things and felt pride of being part of the nation, but now the feeling seemed lesser, does it mean we are in an OK state?

You have said it all. No one can be fooled all the time. I agree with your views in an earlier article that the support was not for DSAI but a show of protest against Barisan. This is reflective of the march, 2008 elections. People merely voted for the opposition out of frustration. The average man is not worried about issues of human rights and the conduct of judges, to name a few, but about putting food on the table for his family. Perhaps one way of winning his support is to ensure that his very basic needs are taken care of. It is a legitimate expectation given the fact that our beloved country is not poor by any standards. I hope that the Budget to be tabled today will address these issues, which if left unchecked, may see the ruling coalition losing support of the rakyat. Many did not agree with your style of administration but nevertheless supported Barisan, because the average man on the street had enough for himself, despite many saying that the Goverment was lavish in it's spending. Point 4 - Jangan lupa kes anwar kena tumbuk dan kes pemecatan Hakim-hakim negara. Masa itu pun malaysia dah jadi negara Polis.
Point 5 - Tiada bezanya bila Tun minta Tunku Abdul Rahman berdiam diri kerana Tunku komen pasal ISA.
Point 7 - Masa Tun surat khabar tak kena control ke?? Ingat tak masa Operasi Lalang dahulu, Surat Khabat hilang permit??? Masa Tengku Razalegh masuk S46 tak pernah saya lihat beliau di surat khabar harian.
Point 8 - Tak kan masa Zaman Tun tak de geng-geng politik? Macam Team A dan Team B sampai UMNO Lama kena diharamkan.
Point 9 - Dulu Tun pun macam Pak Lah jugak...masa tu Tun paling berkuasa, Tun kontrol semua. Hari ini Pak Lah berkuasa, Pak Lah control semua sampai Tun terpinggir. Besok-besok Orang Lain berkuasa Pak Lah terpinggir.

As usual, it all relates to the flip-flop policy undertaken by our PM.
When he announced that the fuel price will be revised at the beginning of Sept...what happened again? It was done earlier.Obviously it was 100% because of the Permatang Pauh by election, to attract voters to swing to BN.But sadly it did not materialise.
Another thing is since the PRU-12 until the last by election, never did our PM become the Ketua Jentera Pilihanraya. It was Najib. He was to coward to accept the responsibility if BN lost (already did).
He never will be respected as a PM no matter how much development he brought during his tenure, that's for sure.
People right now is not hungry for multi billion ringgit economic regions,we do not gain any direct benefits from them.
We are trying to make ends meet day by day and if our PM sees to it, maybe the people will start to reconsider who they want to choose in PRU-13.
I wish you health, prosperity and may Allah sharpen your mind even more to guide us during this hard times.

I'm a Singaporean who has always keep in touch with your blogs everyday. Although I have to admit that Malaysian politics is in turmoil recently, I still believe that there is more and better things that Malaysian can offer in the near future.
Tun, I've always been an avid admirer of yourself since you are in power till now. In my humble opinion, I'm beginning to know you better than ever since you introduce your blogs rather than before only through autobiographies n some major decisions that you made.
In this fast-growing Internet world, I really hoped that my country leaders could have the same approach as yours. As you r more than aware, we r being ruled with iron fist in Singapore. I'm not saying that it is bad, in fact there is more good to it than the former.
I'm also a big fan of our first PM Lee Kuan Yew whom you r always at loggerheads with. But sincerely, both of you are legendary figures especially to us the younger generations.
I juz hoped that you could lend your vast experience and assistance in getting this two countries closer together. For the politics in your country, I sincerely agree with one of the comments, that they need your intervention to calm the whole situation down for the sake of not only Malaysia but the whole region.

The Sabah MPs also rejecting a move to ask them to sign a LOYALTY PLEDGE to PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. What is a loyalty pledge ? Why need to sign a so called loyalty pledge to AAB ?
These are all funny moves by a desperate AAB government. Pak Lah & Co need to resign from UMNO and leave Putrajaya immediately.

Once again, thank you for your blog.
As for your fear of your appearance being suppressed in public meetings, do not worry. This blog is a better instrument for you to express your stand. It has a wider reach and your thought can be well planned out, edited, modified,deleted, viewed and then saved by individual readers. But now we can see that what is to stop the Govt from closing this blog down should you dare to speak out openly, like they have done with Malaysia Today ? If I know you well Tun, this should not deter you at all.
I was going to say this but you echoed my thoughts and I am glad we are on the same wavelength on this one : "1. When a Government makes a promise to the country and then reneges on its promise, then not only will the Government lose credibility but also any respect that the public may have for it."
Certainly I have read Raja Petra's articles in Malaysia Today as an innocent new reader and another magazine I was brought up to read out of pure curiosity was the PKR party magazine/circular and I must say I am disgusted by their contents which made me almost throw up. In summary, I saw that these articles were scandalous of the Govt - writing without backing it up with solid proof - and skewing reality and facts - as in depiction of photos - for example, focussing on someone unaware to depict as if he is doing a certain wrong thing. I think there was also a photo of a child in the magazine carrying an anti-govt placard/banner. This is what disgusted me the most.
With Malaysia Today, I could see that Raja Petra simply made accusations without having any real facts. It is all based on assumptions. It seems he bears a deep hatred to the Govt as can be seen from his response when his site was shut down. Actually, the Govt had sued him and it resulted in him being bankrupt, and therfore further legal suits against him did not bring any effect because he had no more money to pay further fines so that is why he has become so brave. This is the conclusion I have come to when I read his blog and studied him recently. I feel the Govt is doing the right thing in shutting down his blog but unfortunately, they had reneged and made a U-turn on a promise of "no Internet censorship" for one of the MSC Bill of Guarantees which is more important as it is a matter of principle. Hence the Govt has no principle so now it is vry easy for me to judge the Govt after what they have done and countless things they have done in the past : this Govt has no principle and I will not support them. Unfortunately I also do not support DKAI and Lim Guan Eng after what he has done by giving a holiday for Penang just for Permatang Pauh.
The only sensible thing I read in the papers today is Muhyiddin's response of being alarmed because of the threat that many oro-UMNO / BN parties may defect to the other side. He is the only senior UMNO member that appears to be worried of the imminent downfall of UMNO.

1. Bloggings are alternative passage for rakyat to express their idea, suggestions, feelings and so on.
2. I am alert that during your tenure as PM, there are also other channels expressing condemn and dissatisfaction against you. Some people may still remember MAHAZALIM and others (which is not many). At that time, I don't quite sure whether you taking notes and did response to the back then complaints. But what I'm pretty sure is that u were successful in steering Malaysia to the accomplishment course.
3. While nowadays with the better literacy and development of internet, the more blogs or internet forums grown up. And dissatisfaction against things are enormous distributed thru internet with just one click. For myself, I always see the comments on the positive side as to ensure affected person do improvement. But our current leaders didn't listen well to these channels except keep pointing on wrongdoing conducts by blogger.
4. For PM and minions ' LOOK AT THE WALL'. Look what graffiti did the rakyat draw.
5. Constructive or non-constructive critism should make Malaysian leaders to the next level of achievements. But it will depend on how we look into it and what kind of reaction we do.

Salam Merdeka dan Salam Ramadhan. Saya setuju dengan Tun masalah yang dibawa oleh Malaysia Today, RPK dan commentator MT ni yang rata2 adalah pengikut fanatik PKR dan DAP. Saya tak rasakan orang PAS akan baca artikel kat MT ni sebab kadang2 artikel dia byk berbaur anti-Islam & anti-Melayu, kalau tak pun komeb commentator website MT.
Walau apa pun Tun,saya tak tahula sapa yang menjadi penasihat Pak Lah sekarang ni. Segala strategi yang dilakukan bukannya untuk menguatkan Kerajaan tapi menjadikan Kerajaan BN & UMNO macam 'laughing stock' dan pengecut tak tentu hala sedangkan isu dia tidaklah besarkan sgt dan tindakan mestilah berdasarkan undang2 negara & strategi yg tepat. Sebagai contoh:-
1. Takut kat gertak Anwar nak pergi ke parlimen, sebelum pilihanraya. Habis semua jalan radius 5 km nak ke parlimen kena roadblock. Ini akan menampak bertapa kuatnya aura DSAI sedangkan takde ape pun.
2. kedua membenarkan DSAI berdebat dengan seorang menteri Junior yang lansung takde basic finance dan ekonomi. Akibatnya habis debat tu lari drp topik. DSAI mendapat populariti percuma seolah-olah mengambarkan dia seorg pemimpin yang bijak sedangkan theory yang dicakapkan tu kdg2 tak masuk akal untuk dasar kewangan negara bagi jangka masa panjang.
3. Kes Saiful & 2 exco PKR dipermain-mainkan sebelum pilihanraya. Sepatutnya strategi ni tak boleh dipakai sebelum pilihanraya sebab dasar orang melayu iaitu mereka mudah kesian ke atas orang yang dianaiya. Untuk kes DSAI, walaupun belum lagi dibicarakan, orang ramai telah mengganggap DSAI sebagai mangsa konspirasi politik dan ramai mengganggap kerajaan akan menggunakan segala taktik kotor untuk jatuhkan dia. Akhirnya dia jugak yang nampak hebat skrg ni.
4. Dalam kes rakyat tgh tension dengan kerajaan, buat lagi sambutan merdeka kat dataran merdeka ditengah KL yang sangat sibuk ni. Akibatnya byk jalan kena tutup. Tun telah menyediakan PutraJaya punya lah hebat dan menjadikan tempat yang amat sesuai untuk aktiviti kebangsaan, apa salahnya dibuat disana.
Kalau ikutkan sekiranya saya nak tuliskan senarai kesilapan polisi Pak Lah yang menjatuhkan kerajaan ni, macam lebih baik saya buat blog macam tun. :-D

I can say that I'm one of your ardent admirers; this is perhaps the first issue which I can not reconcile with you upon...
I believe that the MSC Bill of Guarantees is void and not applicable when someone violates national stability and provokes endless libellous, slanderous and defamatory material and comments.
MT and other blogs and online activists are not above the laws of the country. They must understand their responsibility towards safeguarding cohesion and the laws that include the preservation of national security.
The promise that there will be no censorship of the Internet in the country is not without conditions; especially when material is allowed that is insulting to one section of the community and can lead to civil unrest. No government can take chances with it’s internal security; especially in a uniquely diverse country as Malaysia.
Section 3 of the Act, which reads: “Nothing in this Act shall be construed as permitting the censorship of the Internet.” can not be understood independently of section 263 of the Communications and Multimedia Act, which states that an ISP must obey a written request from the commission “in the national interest.”
Interpretations may vary as to what is construed as “in the national interest” and the MCMC has decided to act against the blog site within this scope. RPK’s seditious and insensitive and unwise nature is common knowledge, his blog almost always manages to incite.
People must remember that MT has been in operation for years, therefore the latest action is not a crack down on “dissenting views”. RPK has been given ample warnings in the past to amend his unethical ways.
The government is not afraid of the bloggers in and of themselves, they are afraid of the fall-out from their promotion of libellous, slanderous, misinformed, defamatory material and comments. The very type of material that has a very real danger of spiraling out of control. Why is it so hard for you people to understand this? The preservation of many by restricting the actions of a few is not nonsensical!
The fact that sites like MT exist is proof of Malaysia’s sincerity in opening up cyberspace for one and all. Singapore, that is hailed as a model for Malaysia would not even allow a site like MT to operate from within it's shores because they too understand the nature of their social make-up and internal security matters.
